2021 coming off the cusp of lock downs we decided to take a trip to the Mayan riviera with our kids. We had gone just as a couple in 2016 and really wanted to take our kids back to the Hard rock Mayan Riviera.

It was such a fantastic vacation! This resort has so much to offer for families but my favorite part is the lagoon which provides the perfect place to have safe swimming, kayaking and practice snorkeling! 

We spent a day at Xcaret exploring the Mayan jungle, animals in their natural habitat and swimming in under water caves! 

One of my favorite things about this part of Mexico is how embedded the culture is into everything! The food, the music and the landscape.
