I just got home from Jamaica. I was on the island for the 60th celebration of their independence. Let me assure you, Jamaicans know how to celebrate! Jamaicans will tell you they are loud and happy people and I couldn't agree more. They like to get rowdy in a good way and have a good time. Their smile brightens the room and it seems as if they smile with their entire body. 
For independence day they decorated the island with their beautiful flags and banners. Trees were wrapped with green yellow and black ribbons. The national anthem was played frequently and of course, there was lots of Bob Marley.
