Travel Insurance protects your vacation investment

There are two statements that I often hear on Social Media that absolutely make me cringe. The first is "I wish I would have had insurance", and the second is "But I DID have insurance"

Let me explain.

As a matter of office policy, I recommend travel insurance with each trip I sell. I always send an insurance proposal and let clients know they're free to purchase, pass, or shop for their own policy. 

I find that even the most well-traveled clients can be confused when it comes to insurance; what it covers, what it doesn't cover, rules, regulations, etc. When selecting an insurance policy, it's extremely important to consider what you want covered and recognize that travel insurance is NOT once size fits all.

So what is important to you?

• Cancellation coverage
• Cancel for any reason coverage (very different than Cancellation Coverage)
• Price-drop protection
• Adventure-sport rider
• In-destination medical coverage
• Lost luggage assistance
• Rental car insurance
• And the list goes on...
