Luxury Hotel Stays

My family and I have taken multiple road trips across the USA and Canada. On these trips, we have stayed at quite a few luxury hotels. My favorites are the St. Regis San Francisco, where we stayed in a Metropolitan Suite; the Ritz Carlton Los Angeles; and the Waldorf Astoria Park City; The Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort; the W Hollywood; and The Beverly Hilton.

Some of my favorite experiences from the St. Regis were the Butler service, the bedtime story they wrote out for my children the first night and the milk and cookies they delivered to the room.

The Ritz Carlton Los Angeles had impeccable service from check in to check out. We were spoiled at the pool, and room service was extraordinary. They were also phenomenal as far as having a great gluten free selection.

The Waldorf Astoria in Park City is one of my all time favorites. The smores around the fire pit at night (which they were able to provide gluten free ingredients for), and the special events are among the reasons why.

The Arizona Biltmore is always a favorite for the architecture, the amount of things to do on property (golf, multiple pools, shopping and more), the special children's programs (cooking classes and more), Lawn chess and movie nights at the pool. We stayed in the Ocatilla club area and they could not have taken better care of us. I have a gluten allergy, which they catered to.

The W Hollywood was a favorite because of the room type we booked. We booked a Marvelous Suite, which had a window seat big enough for our daughter to sleep on. The W caters to every need, from microwaves in room, to grabbing starbucks. The hotel itself hearkens back to old Hollywood glamour.

The Beverly Hilton has always been a favorite of mine, mostly for the fabulous pool service. At any given moment, you can get frozen grapes and bottled water. Too cold? They have heaters around the pool area. They also had table smores (special promotion that they no longer have), which my kids loved!

My favorite property I have stayed in is the Mauna Lani Auberge, hands down! This boutique property has all the luxury in a casual setting. There is an adults only pool, as well as a family pool and there is nothing better than dining al fresco or grabbing an acai bowl at the surf shack. This property ticked all the boxes for me.
