Galley Bay Resort, Antigua

I recently returned from a 31st anniversary trip to Antigua where we split our time between two different resorts.  As a travel agent, it's important for me to experience as many resorts first hand as I can, so I usually try to split my time at different resorts when I travel.

For this trip, it was a first visit for us at the fabulous adults' only, all-inclusive Hammock Cove Resort on the eastern side of Antigua.  We were blown away by the service at this resort!  They provide things before you even ask for them.  We ordered room service for lunch one afternoon and we didn't order drinks so they brought us a couple of pina coladas.  If you're in the ocean, the bartenders will actually wade into the water to bring you a drink.

All rooms are villas with private plunge pools and your own Ambassador (butler), and rooms are either ocean view or oceanfront.  Guests are provided with a cell phone to reach your Ambassador for anything you need.

The bartenders are exceptional at Hammock Cove!  Just tell them the types of drinks you like and they will amaze you with a personal creation. 

Next, we went to the Galley Bay Resort on the western side of Antigua.  Galley Bay is also adults' only, and all-inclusive.  This was our third time staying at Galley Bay, and it's the staff that keeps us coming back.  You really are treated like family at Galley Bay.  The staff really remembers your name here, and management is visible every day and will ask how you are enjoying your stay. 

The beach at Galley Bay is stunning and the food is amazing!

Do put Hammock Cove and Galley Bay on your list of places to visit if you are celebrating a special occasion, or just because you deserve it!
