The Red Desert in the Australian Outbacks
King's Canyon, Australia
In March 2019 I had the amazing opportunity to visit the Australian Outbacks in the Northern Territories.
Among the many activities, we dined in the desert, enjoyed a Night At the Fields of Light with a spectacular view of Uluru, visited a Kangaroo Sanctuary and fed baby kangaroos.
We also went on a sunrise hot air balloon ride, visited the Royal Flying Doctor Service Museum and the School of the Air Center in Alice Springs.
We also hiked for half a day in the wilderness of King's Canyon and stayed over night at kings Canyon Resort.
We swam at Ellery Creek Big Hole, a large permanent waterhole, formed by runoff from the Mac Donnell Ranges
