WHALE SHARK ADVENTURE IN LA PAZ
The opportunity to swim with the largest fish in the world sounds both appealing and a bit frightening. Whale sharks are known as the “Gentle Giants” in the ocean; however, they can reach lengths of 40 feet or more and on average weight about 20 tons. Each year whale sharks appear in the Bay of Laz Paz between October to March to feed on the rich plankton filled waters. Swimming alongside one of these massive fish is an exhilarating once-in-a-lifetime experience.
