This was a fun trip to Cabo for the resort''s official re-opening after Hurricane Odile with my BFF. I can't say enough about what a great job they did renovating. The quality of the food and service was excellent. It's a short distance from the airport and just west of San Lucas. There's a pool for each type of guest - splashing kids club/pool, quiet adult pool with snack bar for those who like to read, fun infinity pool with swim up bar, and chilly main pool. We really liked the quick bites cafe next to the main pool and getting ice cream and relaxing on the lobby terrace. While in the area, I was able to do extended site inspections at Sandos Finisterra (fab whale watching and new cupcake cafe), Riu Palace Los Cabos (all junior suite and well done for a Riu), and a pre-opening look at the new Breathless (on the marina AND on the beach that will be fun and elegant).
