Springtime at the Walt Disney World Resort

My Spring time visit to the Walt Disney World Resort was full of amazing experiences. With a 3 day Park-Hopper ticket I made the most out of my visit. Whenever I go to Walt Disney World I always try to do things that I have never done before and this visit was no exception. It was filled with discovering many new things! Here are a few highlights from my visit.

I was able to experience the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. There was so much to see and do during the festival. I had a wonderful time seeing all of the whimsical colorful garden displays throughout the Park. These displays capture some of my favorite Disney characters.

I spent a morning at Animal Kingdom. I enjoyed riding Expedition Everest and the Kilimanjaro Safaris. I also stopped in to visit Mickey and Minnie. They were so cute in their safari outfits! This was my first visit to Animal Kingdom and I highly recommend it!

After Animal Kingdom I headed over to The Grand Floridian and had a delicious lunch at the Grand Floridian Café. This was a first for me!  I spent my late afternoon and evening at the Magic Kingdom. I love the Magic Kingdom for all the nostalgia it offers me. Nothing beats seeing that beautiful castle and taking in all of the sights and sounds on Main Street.

I had a full day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I took advantage of the early entry benefit that I had for staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. I was able to enjoy many of the attractions. I enjoyed lunch at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. This restaurant is amazing! It was a 50s-style drive-in theater and the seating was booth-styled cars. There were movie clips showing and it truly felt as if I was at a drive-in theater in the 1950's. It was my first time dining at this restaurant. I highly recommend it if you have the opportunity to go. The rest of the day I enjoyed more attractions and  the Beauty and the Beast stage show. For dinner I ate at Hollywood and Vine (another first for me). This meal was buffet style and was delicious.  Mickey, Minnie and pals were in their Hollywood attire and stopped at each table to take photos with every guest. It was a perfect day! I have to add that this day I was solo! No one was with me. Sometimes it is ok to travel solo and this day was one of them.

Another first for me on this trip was staying at the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando - Disney Springs. With a complimentary breakfast and evening snacks daily, this hotel was a great fit for me! I highly recommend this it!!

I had such a fantastic vacation! As always it went by too fast and cannot wait to go back!
