Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

When first spotting this resort while cruising over it on the Skyliner, I thought to myself, 'no way would I ever stay here. It's so spread out'.  Fast forward to a last minute decision to do a split stay and check it out.  After spending a few minutes looking at the map after being assigned my room in the Aruba section, I realized this resort actually was mapped out pretty well.  There is a walkway across the lake to the main building which cuts the commute way down.  One of the really neat features of this walkway is it has little seating areas on the right side and a firework viewing area and playground on the left.  Being that my building was at the end of the row of buildings, it made it very easy to access the Skyliner at the Riviera.  They didn't have an arcade like a lot of the other Disney resorts and the main pool was closed for repairs/refurbishment?, but each set of buildings had their own smaller pool for basic pool needs.  There were bus stops at all the buildings too. One of the biggest perks I noticed were they had the Coke Freestyle machines in most of the buildings to be able to refill your resort mug at any hour.  If I was to have to name one drawback, I would say the food options in the main dining hall weren't as diverse as other Disney resorts, even the All-Stars.  All-in-all, I enjoyed this resort and would recommend and stay there again!
