Disneyland at Christmastime!

Christmastime at Disneyland is pure magic!! It is one of my favorite times to be in the Park. I enjoy going the first weekend in December. Typically, this is when the Candlelight Processional is performed and it is something not to be missed! Watching the choir members proceed down Main Street is such a beautiful sight. All lights are dimmed and all that you see is the candles that they hold. Each year the guest narrator is a surprise. In 2022 the narrator was Viola Davis and in 2023 it was Brie Larson. The narrator tells the story of Christmas and is accompanied by an amazing choir and orchestra. It really feels like the Christmas season has begun after watching the Candlelight Processional!

I love all of the decorations in Disneyland and California Adventure. The Christmas tree on Main Street is beautiful and a great spot to capture a family photo. The castle is stunning all lit up at night! Over in California Adventure, Cars Land is my favorite!

Christmas time at Disneyland also means the Christmas Fantasy Parade will be performing. I enjoy a late lunch at Carnation Café and watching the parade from the restaurant's patio. It is a relaxing viewing spot.

Holiday treats are some of my favorites. This year I found some delicious Christmas cookies in California Adventure at the Festival of Holidays! If you enjoy trying new foods, the Festival of Holidays is for you. It has a wide variety of foods to chose from.

For this particular trip I stayed at a Good-Neighbor property and flew into Orange County's airport. There are many nearby airports that you can fly into. LAX (Los Angeles) is a top choice for many guests.

No matter which airport that you chose to arrive at, experiencing Disneyland at Christmas time is a wonderful way to start the holiday season!! It is my favorite way to kick it off! When you combine Christmastime and Disneyland you get pure magic!
