We love to get away at Christmas each year. We love to go where it is warm and we can spend family time together making extra special memories. It is a gift we give ourselves as a family instead of things that will be thrown away or played with for a very short time. This year we visited the Riviera Maya area in Mexico staying at Iberostar Paraiso Maya Suites. We stayed in a Junior suite with plenty of room for our family of 4. The room was spacious with a gorgeous balcony we loved spending time on. There was a hammock seat that the kids loved to relax in! We spent our days at the many different pools as well as the slides, lazy river and wave pool. They had pool games and ice cream by the pool the kids enjoyed several times. The ocean was very rough while we were but we still spent some time at the beach relaxing, grabbing some lunch at the beach side cafe and enjoying some time napping under the palm covered palapa. The kids really enjoyed all the wildlife on property including Coates, flaminogs, Iguanas and parrots! While I get to visit the Mexican Caribbean several times per year, this was the kids first visit and they loved it! Traveling with kiddos brings its own challenges but we had a great time and I love sharing my experiences wtih clients to better help them with their vacations.
