River Cruising via the Nile River - Egypt
To me, one of the best ways to see Egypt is from a River Cruise. River Cruises are essentially floating hotels, which I love (aka, you only unpack only once)! You’ll board the cruise in Luxor, and sail down the Nile for 7 days. You’ll stop in different cities and towns such as Edfu and Aswan. Egypt is a country where you’ll want a guide - for their knowledge of the historical sites, and knowledge of their own land and language.
You’ll have all group tours included in your cruise at all stops, and fantastic guides at that.
While on your cruise, you’ll have a mix of high end European cuisine as well as Egyptian. This is huge to me, as Egyptian food is not my personal favorite, so having other options is great.
In addition, sailing along the Nile is beautiful. You’ll sail past lush greenery, desert landscapes, small villages, children playing, small boats and really see life along the Nile. The source of life in Egypt is along the Nile, and sailing past is one of the most beautiful things (for those that love scenery like me, I highly recommend a room with a balcony)!
Egypt is a beautiful country with a fascinating history, and river cruises are a luxurious way to experience it.
