AmaWaterways Paris & Normandy Cruise Vacation
One of my most memorable vacations since becoming a travel advisor was the AmaWaterways Paris & Normandy Cruise. This roundtrip journey from Paris was enriched with highlights like Monet's Gardens in Giverny, the historical landmarks of Rouen and Honfleur, as well as the iconic Beaches of Normandy, including Omaha and Gold Beaches. I had the pleasure of sharing this experience with two family members, my sister and my son. The pond in Giverny at Monet's home was especially beautiful, while the astronomical clock in Rouen and the preserved medieval charm of Honfleur were other standout moments. The American Cemetery in Coleville-sur-Mer was not just a sight to see, but also an emotional moment, especially since we had veterans on our cruise. This trip was my introduction to the world of AmaWaterways and the boutique style of river cruising, where smaller ships make for closer connections and a curated experience. It was a trip that not only expanded my understanding of what river cruising offers compared to ocean cruising but also inspired me to specialize in AmaWaterways offerings. As a result, I can provide in-depth guidance to clients interested in similar transformative travel experiences.
